The load test of the Composite (steel&concrete) Viaduct of Avenida de Levante on MU-30, Reguerón Highway, in Murcia, Spain, which IDEAM, S.A. designed for TYPSA, has concluded satisfactorily.
The viaduct has a span of 40 + 60 + 40 m, a width of 26.30 m and the deck is materialized by 3 composite box-girders of variable depth with double composite action on hogging areas over piers, and has been built by the JV formed by the companies COMSA Corporación, Vías y Construcciones S.A. and SANJOSE CONSTRUCTORA, with Horta Coslada as steel workshop.
