Today the pouring of concrete in the slab of the deck of the arch bridge of La Concordia de Valdebebas concludes.
In the last weeks the interior concrete of the arch was carried out, materializing the composite (steel&comcrete) section, the precast slabs were placed in the rest of the deck and the deck slab was poured in phases.
You can already see the silhouette of the bridge with the double diagird that hangs the deck from the arch without the provisional stiffening that was necessary to use during the translation phase carried out months ago.
There is less and less left to complete and commission the bridge.
La Concordia arch bridge will connect the Terminal T-4 of Barajas Madrid airport with Valdebebas crossing over the M-12, with a main span of 162 m, a total length of 207 m and a width of 24.5 m, and will become the longest span in the Region of Madrid.
