Ferrovial has published the accelerated video of the complete operation of the complex movement of the central section of 128.65 m in length, 24.5 m in width and 2350 t of weight of the outstanding arch of “La Concordia” Bridge in Valdebebas, over the M-12 Highway, in front of terminal T-4 at Madrid airport. The operation has been carried out in 4 very long days without rest.
It has been a great teamwork of Junta de Compensación Parque de Valdebebas, the constructor Ferrovial, the specialist in heavy-lifting Mammoet, and IDEAM, S.A. Construction Management and also author of the detailed design.
