Yesterday 13-12-2018, the load test of the Viaduct over River Serpis in Gandía was successfully carried out.

The continuous bridge has 4 spans of 36 + 59 + 59 + 36 m with variable depth and also variable width of up to 17.60 m, and the deck is made of 4 composite steel & concrete girders connected to the upper slab with and double composite action over the piers.

The bridge is owned by the Spanish Ministry of Publics Works, the main contractor is COPCISA, the steel workshop is Horta Coslada and IDEAM has carried out the detailed design and the technical assistance to the contractor during the execution.
