This week the propps of the arch has been removed and the placement of the tubes that will materialize the double Diagrid, or structural mesh, which will transmit the loads from the deck to the arch, and which will make the Valdebebas bridge a bridge unique in its type, continues at a good pace.
With the progress in the placement of the Diagrid, the bridge begins to look much more like the images in the renders and the project model.
The new arch bridge of Valdebebas will connect the T-4 of the Barajas airport with Valdebebas crossing the M-12, with a main span of 162 m and a total length of 207 m.
