Civil Engineers Madrid Demarcation College (Caminos Madrid ) has awarded Luis Matute, CEO of IDEAM | A TYLin Company, for Outstanding Civil Engineer 2022 for his long and successful professional career.
Luis Matute is a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid since 1992 and has developed his professional career at IDEAM | A TYLin Company, in the field of bridges and singular structures. In these more than 30 years of experience, he has held all positions in the company, he has been General Manager since 2007 and he is currently the CEO of IDEAM | A TYLin Company since December 2021.
Luis Matute has combined his professional activity with teaching. He has been an associate professor at the European University of Madrid from 2009 to 2013 and since 2014 he has been an Associate Professor of Bridges and Metallic and Composite Structures at the Higher Technical School of Civil Engineering, of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
He has taken advantage of the publication of a good number of articles in national and international technical journals, as well as the publication of articles in scientific-technical conference proceedings books. He is the author of various technical presentations at national and international symposiums and conferences.
