The result of the rehabilitation of the I.E.S. Práxedes Mateo Sagasta de Logroño has been spectacular, even better than we expected.
IDEAM SA has collaborated with the JV Dragados SA–Qoda Construcciones by providing technical assistance and value engineering services in the construction phase of the complete remodeling of the building, which is almost 130 years old and has some 15,000 square meters of educational space.
The main interventions have been the execution of a new basement for the south wing, safely maintaining the protected façade of 1890, a façade that was propped up and held while the new basement was being built, and the two interior patios have been completely rebuilt.
