The execution of the steel structure of the first composite (steel & concrete) viaducts of the Atizapán-Atlacomulco Highway in Mexico has recently begun execution in the COREY workshop in Guadalajara, Mexico.
IDEAM has carried out the modified detailed design and is performing the technical assistance tasks during the execution of the 5 composite launched viaducts and 6 concrete precast viaducts, which is being built by OHL México.
Composite viaducts, three straight and two curved, have lengths between 385 and 464 m, with a maximum width of 23.26 m and spans of 60 and 70 m.
